Ticketing & Online Booking

When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Wollerton Old Hall Garden and yourself.

 

General ticketing

• All visitors wishing to visit Wollerton Old Hall Garden can either book online or purchase a ticket on entry to the garden.
• All persons entering Wollerton Old Hall Garden must hold a valid admission ticket that must be retained at all times and submitted for inspection if required by any member of staff. Failure to produce a valid ticket on request may result in removal from the garden.
• No person 15 or under will be allowed entry to the Garden unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and such person or persons whilst on site must remain strictly under the control or supervision of an adult at all times.
• Pre purchase online tickets are only valid for the date and time printed on the ticket. Tickets purchase online must be shown to ticketing staff to gain access as without this, entry will be refused.
• Admission tickets do not allow access to the Hall which is private, and closed to visitors.
• The price of tickets may vary from year to year and the prices advertised are not guaranteed. 

 

Annual Membership

• Annual membership allows free entry to Wollerton Old Hall Garden on any public open day. Memberships are not valid for special ticketed events, Wollerton lecture days or group visits.
• Annual memberships last for one year from the date of purchase and are not valid when the garden is closed to the public.
• Your membership card must be presented at the ticket office to gain entry to the garden, otherwise full admission will be charged.
• Wollerton Old Hall Garden have the right to refuse entry and remove annual memberships if fraudulent use is suspected where no refund will be given. Memberships are non transferable and can only be used by the named membership holder. 
• Prior to 21st June 2021, annual memberships were previously refered to as Season Tickets. 

 

Memberships & Promotional Entry

• Historic Houses Association (HHA) members are entitled to free entry on all our public open days throughout the year. A valid membership card must be produced at the ticket office for scanning. Failure to produce a valid membership card may result in the payment for a full price admission ticket or refused entry to the garden.
• BBC Gardeners World 2 for 1 cards are only valid when an adult admission ticket has been purchased. The 2 for 1 card can only be accepted when two people are entering; it cannot be used for a sole admission to the garden. One card to be used per couple; a group of four people would need to produce 2 cards.

 

Online Booking

• To ensure that your details are secure, your credit / debit card details will be encrypted on a secure server to maximise security.
• Once purchased online, tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold.
• Please bring along your booking reference number, print out or your e-ticket.
• Prices are correct at the time of going to press and are subject to change without notification.
• The admission ticket must be shown to ticketing staff to gain access; without this, entry will be refused.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

• Tickets are non-refundable and void if altered. Any tickets that Wollerton Old Hall Garden reasonably suspects have been altered will not be honoured.  
• Wollerton Old Hall Garden will not refund tickets based on customers reconsidering their purchase, or for tickets that have been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
• In case of illness on the day of your visit, tickets cannot be refunded but can be transfered to an alternative public open day of your choice, provided written (email) communication is given in advance. 

 

General

• Free parking is available on site.
• Vehicles are parked at the owners risk and Wollerton Old Hall Garden is not responsible for any damage to vehicles using the car park.
• Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited within the Garden. Anyone smoking, may be asked to leave.
• Picnicking is not allowed in the garden. Feel free to use the car park field for picnics and ensure you take any rubbish home with you.
• We reserve the right to prevent entry to Wollerton Old Hall Garden and/or to remove anyone from the premises whose behaviour is inappropriate and/or undesirable and which may affect the safety and enjoyment of our staff or other guests, without the right to a refund. 
• Opening times and dates might change without prior notice at the discretion of the owners. Please check the website for details prior to making your visit. 
• Photography of the garden is for personal use only. Photographing the garden using a tripod requires prior permission.
• Wollerton Old Hall Garden reserve the right to close the whole or any part of the garden at any time or to restrict the number of people having access to it. The reason for any closure or restriction may include capacity, adverse weather conditions, operational reasons, special events or for any reason that Wollerton Old Hall Garden reasonably considers the circumstances so require. For tickets purchased in advance, if Wollerton Old Hall Garden is closed for any of the reasons set out above, we may offer replacement tickets for admission to Wollerton Old Hall Garden on an alternative date or instead offer, at our discretion, a full refund.
